Update: Seven-year-old in hospital after car accident
A YOUNG girl is recovering in hospital after a car accident on Thursday (Sept 18).
The seven-year-old girl was crossing Edgehill Road, Chislehurst, at around 6.40pm when a Vauxhall Astra collided with the youngster.
She was rushed by ambulance to Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup with a broken leg and chest injuries but her conditioned deteriorated and she was transferred to Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill.
She was taken back to Queen Mary's Hospital yesterday.
No arrests have been made in connection with the collision.

There are questions one has that nedd answeing with reguards this accident, but for now before the judgemental numpties start slaggingof the parents etc etc. Just remember every thing is better with hind site, whats important is this little girl get well and makes a full recovery. As a parent of a child the same age my thoughts and prayers go out to them.

I used to live in Edgehill Road many years ago. I have to say that that road was very queit but now more and more cars coz Parents start to live in that road than older people. However not that one but also more office worker/shop start turn into office. Too many of them drive too fast!! It time to put the sign up and say 20mph !!!

being in edgehill just before this happend the children were playing chicken in the road, laying down in the road and running out in front of cars ! They should be in the Imperial park playing NOT playing with the traffic
