Dave Martin shields the ball from an MK Dons marker
Millwall 0-4 MK Dons
THE manager of the month curse struck in emphatic style at the Den on Saturday, as MK Dons shattered Millwall's seven game unbeaten run in League One with a convincing win.
Although the visitors spend much of the game in their own half, their quick, direct counter attacking was extremely effective and secured their third away win of the season.
Millwall started brightly with Lewis Grabban shooting across the face of goal on four minutes.
But the home side found themselves behind on eight minutes when Zak Whitbread failed to deal with Peter Leven's corner and Sean O'Hanlon put the ball in off the underside of the bar.
The Lions, who had not suffered defeat since the opening day of the season, responded well and Grabban nearly levelled the score on 21 minutes, but was denied by an excellent low save by former Millwall stopper Willy Gueret.

Despite Millwall spending much of the first half in MK Dons' territory, the visitors looked dangerous on the counter-attack.
This was demonstrated on 44 minutes when left winger Luke Chadwick hit the byline and cut the ball back to Mark Wright on the six yard box.
David Forde in the Millwall goal made a superb stop with his feet to keep the ball out, but the Dons' advantage was doubled less than a minute later.
Sam Baldock beat the off-side trap, took the ball around Forde and slotted into the empty net.
On 67 minutes Millwall were once again exposed at the back - this time Baldock led the charge and looked to find Ali Gerba - but Paul Robinson intercepted and seemed to have dealt with the problem.
However, he could only look on stunned as his back pass wrong-footed Forde and rolled into the net.
Millwall's misery was completed on 89 minutes when Gerba's volley from the edge of the box looped onto the top of the bar and Baldock grabbed the rebound for his second.
